MEDITECH Customers Receive CIO 100 Award

Congratulations to MEDITECH customers Southcoast Health System (New Bedford, MA) and Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) (Nashville, TN), for being named among the CIO 100 honorees! This award recognizes companies across industries worldwide who demonstrate outstanding innovation in services through the use of technology.

HCA received this honor for its Emergency Department project, using billboards and mobile technology to report on and reduce wait times, in order to increase patient satisfaction. Meanwhile, Southcoast was recognized for its use of wireless and electronic medical record technology across the care continuum, which resulted in a $30 million return on investment.
