Without question, these are exciting times in
health care. And things are about to get very exciting here
at MEDITECH as we get ready to embark on our 2010 customer
event season. In an effort to engage more of our customers
and provide you with more of the information and education
you need to keep pace with ARRA and other hot industry topics,
we're bringing you a whole new conference experience in 2010:
New dates! A new format! New content! More opportunities for
you to network and participate!
Here are a few important changes for you to make note of now.
Over the coming weeks, we'll be posting additional details
about our customer events on www.meditech.com—watch for
them!
CIO
Technology Forum Moving to May
Traditionally held in June, the CIO Technology Forum will now
be held a month earlier, on May 13th and 14th. Attendees can
look forward to hearing from a variety of speakers talking
about topics like organizational quality; best business
practices; how I.T. can help in the areas of reporting and
trending; and, of course, meeting the new mandates brought
about by ARRA. Registration will open during the second week
of February. You'll have access to the Registration page via
the home page of meditech.com, as well as through the CIO and Canadian Portals.
June
Event Will Unite Entire Nursing Community
One of the most exciting changes coming this year is a
totally revamped educational forum which will bring together
our entire Nursing community. Instead of holding separate
Nursing events as we've done in the past, we're bringing you
one, 3-1/2 day event in June. This expanded forum will
feature speakers, educational tracks, and peer sessions
dedicated to each of these groups: Chief Nurse Executives (CNEs);
Nurses and Clinical Analysts; and for the first time ever, we'll
offer a separate track just for Home Care Nurses.
The event will be held in the Boston area. Location,
registration, and other details will be announced shortly on meditech.com as well as on our Nurse and Home Care Portals.
Physician/CIO
Forum to Be Held in October
While we've moved around our Spring event schedule, the
Physician/CIO Forum will continue to be held in October.
Please plan on joining us on October 21st and 22nd for
another great event. Details will be posted on the Physician Connection and on the CIO Portal in the coming months.
If you've attended our customer events in the past, you know
they are chock-full of powerful education sessions featuring
some of the industry's key leaders and they offer plenty of
networking opportunities. If you've never attended one of our
events, why not make this the year? As always, our events are
free of charge and open to all customers. We look forward to
