MEDITECH and Northeastern University's
Bouvé College
of Health Sciences
have teamed up to introduce health informatics technology
into the College's health sciences curriculum. This new
program will help prepare health sciences students to
integrate clinical documentation into electronic medical
records. Through this joint initiative, MEDITECH's clinical
software will be piloted at the School of Nursing this fall,
and is expected to be implemented in all the health sciences
disciplines by 2010. In recognition of this collaboration,
MEDITECH's Chairman and CEO, Neil Pappalardo; President and
COO, Howard Messing; Vice President of Marketing, Hoda Sayed-Friel;
and Dean of the Bouvé College of Health Sciences, Steve
Zoloth, invited alumni currently employed at MEDITECH to an
appreciation luncheon, held on August 28th, 2009 at MEDITECH's
Canton facility. During the luncheon, Dean Zoloth gave a
presentation to alumni about this new and exciting
collaboration with MEDITECH.
