MEDITECH Honored as American Red Cross Business Sponsor
9/11 remembrance blood drives inspire Red Cross recognition.

MEDITECH was recently honored to receive a 2010 Business Sponsor of the Year regional award from the American Red Cross.

The company's "September 11th Remembrance Blood Drives" are scheduled six times per year across MEDITECH's Massachusetts facilities. They are held as a tribute to Carol Flyzik, MEDITECH marketing supervisor, who was killed aboard American Airlines Flight 11, the first plane to crash into the World Trade Center on 9/11/2001.

Since the program's inception, MEDITECH blood drives have collected over 3,000 total units. We encourage everyone across the MEDITECH community to continue supporting the American Red Cross.
