Classic Quiche Lorraine

Ingredients (makes 6 servings)
  • 8 slices Bacon, crisp, cooked, and crumbled

  • 1 cup shredded Swiss Cheese

  • 1 baked 9 inch pie shell

  • 6 eggs

  • 1 1/4 cup Half and Half

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1/4 teasppoon white pepper

Preparation:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
  • Sprinkle Bacon and Cheese into Pie shell.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat together eggs, Half and Half and Seasoning until well blended.
  • Pour over bacon and cheese
  • Bake for 40 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean
  • Let stand 5 minutes before you serve and enjoy.
