Pecan-Encrusted Pork Chops with Honey Rum Glaze

Ingredients:
  • 4 CENTER CUT PORK CHOPS
  • 1-CUP PLAIN BREAD CRUMBS
  • ½ CUP CHOPPED PECAN’S
  • 2 EGGS
  • ½ CUP MILK
  • 1 TSP NUTMEG
  • GLAZE
  • ½ PT DARK RUM
  • 6 OZ PURE HONEY
  • 2 tsp Brown Sugar

Preparation:
  • First you want to mix the eggs and the milk together to make an egg wash
  • Then you want to mix the breadcrumbs and pecans together in a separate bowl
  • Now you are ready to get started you want to preheat a pan with some oil just enough to cover the bottom, wait till the oil starts to smoke then you want to dip the pork chops in the flour, then the egg wash and then the breadcrumb and pecan mixture, place in pan for 2 or 3 minutes on each side just enough to turn golden brown.
  • Place pork chops in oven for about 10 to 15 minutes to finish.
  • While you are waiting for that you may make the glaze in a sauce pan heat and add rum bring to a boil and turn down then add the brown sugar and Honey let simmer for a couple of minutes.
  • At the last minute sprinkle with nutmeg and serve over the top of the pork chops.
