MEDITECH Participates in Vendor Panel at HIMSS/HFMA Joint Conference
As more HIT-related information is released about the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009, more questions are being raised about how to successfully implement electronic health records, as well as demonstrate
meaningful use. To help our customers tackle these issues, Barbara Hobbs, MEDITECH's manager of EHR, interoperability and standards initiatives, will be part of an EHR vendor panel this Friday, October 16th, at the
New England HIMSS & HFMA Fall Conference in South Portland, Maine.
The event's theme, "Health Information Technology – Supporting an Industry in Change," will address recent HIT industry changes and their effects on hospitals, with the vendor panel focusing specifically on strategies for EHR and ARRA readiness.
