HHS To Study I.T. to Reduce Disparities

Glitch Has CIOs Targeting FY12 for Stage 1 Attestation

While 40% of CIOs had planned to report Meaningful Use Stage 1 compliance in FY2011, a recently identified timing glitch—which would have compressed their time to comply with Stage 2 measures—has about half of them now planning to join their colleagues on a FY2012 attestation schedule. Small Providers Benefit from EHRs, Survey Shows

The Direct Project: Accelerating Government Innovation in Health I.T.

The pilots—one in Minnesota and one in Rhode Island—are the first tests of the Direct Project, an HHS initiative designed to simplify the exchange of information within the health care industry. CMS Innovation Website Will be Tool to Vet Delivery Models

Direct Project Gets Wide Support for Simple Exchange

Group Will Expand on ONC’s Connect Tools for Exchange
