One of MEDITECH's newest staff members is a Border Collie named Abby. Abby lives in the Canton building full time and has round-the-clock care by our Operations Staff. Abby came to us from a farm in North Carolina, and has adapted very well to her new surroundings.

MEDITECH has a significant Canada Geese problem on our grounds, especially at our Canton facility. Abby is helping us to alleviate this problem in the most humane way. She immediately took to her job of herding and ridding the grounds of geese. On the days geese decide not to show up in Canton, we have her trained to run around the Canton track pond for her daily exercise or we take her to our other facilities, such as the Norwood Building to work on and around the golf course. We have her on a walking and feeding schedule that meets the needs of both Abby and our Operations Staff.
