EMC Symmetrix

The Symmetrix Storage System provides multiple-host connectivity, uses large cache memory configurations for high performance, and has maximum redundancy for protection against a component failure or loss of power. Host connections can be either Direct-Attach Storage (DAS) or defined within a switched Storage Area Network (SAN). There are some advanced features within the Symmetrix which require additional software development and, therefore, are not yet supported.

EMC Symmetrix versions 4.8, 5.0, and 5.5 are supported in MEDITECH's MAGIC for Intel®, MAGIC on Windows® 2000 (OS Release P7.0 and above), and MEDITECH's Client/Server (NT 4.0 and above) software products.
