MEDITECH's MAGIC HCIS distributes data across the entire enterprise on a standard platform of Intel processors. The unrivaled processing speed of Intel products powers the information network, making information readily accessible throughout the enterprise.

Using the MEDITECH Remote Workstation, MEDITECH's MAGIC HCIS can be accessed via your existing Windows NT®, Windows®95, Windows®98, Windows®2000, and Windows® Me clients. This facilitates user access to the wealth of products available on these popular, industry-standard operating systems while maintaining connectivity to your MAGIC network all from a single client.

MEDITECH supports the Microsoft ® Windows® 2000 Server operating system for servers running the MAGIC platform of MEDITECH's Health Care Information System. We believe that the improvements offered in Windows 2000, particularly relative to the installation and upgrade processes, provide our customers with the most stable operating environment possible.

We also support Microsoft SQL Server 2000 as the underlying architecture for the MEDITECH Data Repository application. Data Repository is a powerful data warehousing, reporting, and decision-support tool that allows for detailed analysis of clinical, administrative, and financial data across populations of patients, providers, facilities and departments.
