| MEDITECH
is looking for people to be part of a small team and an
exciting new effort to create our new Spanish Language
Health Care Information System. Ideal candidates will
ensure that the MEDITECH products are translated properly
and meet the cultural, financial and medical needs of the
Latin American market. As a specialist, your position
will also entail quality control, documentation,
installation and support. MEDITECH will train qualified
candidates who have the desire to learn, have good
interpersonal skills, and who enjoy researching issues
and problem solving. Responsibilities
- Analyze the
specific needs of the Spanish-speaking market,
and produce appropriate specifications for
development programmers
- Potential travel to
customer sites for analysis, development, and the
support of other divisions in their
implementation efforts
- Understand the
functionality of our US-based systems, and
determine what changes and new features are
required to meet the needs of the Spanish-speaking
market
- Translate our HCIS
product (screens, programs, messages, etc) into
Spanish
- Test application
software
- Work with the
customers on site to implement the software and
train users
Qualifications
- Excellent written
and verbal communication skills in Spanish are
required, native speakers preferred
- Ability to work
both independently and/or as a team to meet
deadlines is a must
- Strong analytical
skills
- High desire to
learn
- Great project
management skills
- Exceptional
attention to detail and solid problem solving
abilities
- Associates Degree,
Bachelors Degree or applicable work experience
- Technical skills in
testing are a plus but not required
- Clinical, financial,
administrative, or departmental experience in any
aspect of health care information systems is a
plus
