is looking for staff to market our Health Care
Information System to senior level managers and
executives, including CEOs, CIOs, CFOs and CNOs, at
hospitals and health care networks. Prior sales
experience of high technology software with a proven
track record and demonstrated job stability is favored.
Prior experience in a health care field such as
administration, laboratory, pharmacy, finance or nursing
is a plus. Responsibilities
- Gaining general
product knowledge on all MEDITECH products and
services
- Aggressively
selling MEDITECH's established standard products
and services
- Maintaining
accurate and standardized account records
- Following up on
"Requests for Information" - leads from
shows and mailings
- Preparing and
monitoring "Requests for Proposals"
- Attending trade
shows and monthly sales meetings
- Coordinating
demonstrations of MEDITECH software
- Covering assigned
territories, which will require traveling 10+
over nights per month
- Traveling 50%
- Qualifications
- Exceptional
communication skills
- Professionalism
- Ability to develop
and maintain strong relationships with new and
existing customers
- Strong presentation
skills
- Proven ability to
set goals and meet deadlines
- Associates or
Bachelors Degree strongly favored
- Ideal candidates
will posses experience with outside sales and
have a thorough understanding of a successful
sales cycle
