   Who We Are
 MEDITECH has 39 years of experience as a leader and innovator in the health care information systems software industry, with more than 2,700 staff members and over 2,200 customers. We are a privately held organization and are one of the largest software companies in Massachusetts. Our customer base is concentrated in the United States, but extends throughout the world to Canada, England, Ireland and South Africa.

   What We Do
We develop, implement and support software for hospitals and related organizations. Our systems cover the full range of automated services for the entire continuum of care, from clinical products such as electronic medical records, to administrative solutions such as community-wide scheduling, to financial reporting and data analysis tools. The greatest strength of our products is their unusually high level of seamless integration, the result of their having been developed by a single company.

Health care is a noble profession. Providing the tools and technology for care givers to do their job well is something of which we can all be proud. We feel our company makes a difference in peoples' lives, when they need it the most, and so can you. We sincerely care about what we do for our customers and their patients.

We are unique in our loyalty and commitment to our staff, giving them a stable and satisfying place to work and prosper. Our mission, thankfully, has nothing to do with watching our public stock price move up and down a few pennies to satisfy anonymous external shareholders.   • A. Neil Pappalardo, Chairman of the Board, founded the company in 1969. His first hired staff member, Lawrence A. Polimeno, is now the company's Vice Chairman. All of our company officers, on average, have been at MEDITECH for over 28 years.
