MEDITECH is looking for energetic, motivated professionals to sell and market our health care information system to senior level managers and executives (CEO, CIO, CFO, and CNO) at hospitals and hospital networks. Prior sales experience of high technology software with a proven track record and demonstrated job stability is favored. Prior experience in a health care field such as Administration, Laboratory, Pharmacy, Financial, or Nursing is a plus.   • Gaining general product knowledge on all MEDITECH products and services and specific knowledge on one or more of MEDITECH’s software modules
  • Aggressively selling MEDITECH's established standard products and services
  • Covering assigned territories which will require travelling 10+ overnights per month (50% travel)
  • Maintaining accurate and standardized account records
  • Follow up on "Requests for Information", leads from shows and mailings
  • Preparing and monitoring "Requests for Proposals" (RFP's)
  • Attending trade shows and monthly sales meetings
  • Coordinating demonstrations of MEDITECH software
  • Working with a Regional Sales Director, implementation managers, and MEDITECH attorneys to successfully negotiate contracts with healthcare organizations
