All moves must be scheduled through MEDITECH with at least forty-eight (48) hour notice.
Move shall not commence until a Certificate of
Insurance is submitted.
All moves shall be made during
off-hours, (5:00 PM - 7:00 AM weekdays, or on weekends) unless otherwise approved by MEDITECH.
Move shall take place through the
loading dock of the building only. Material shall not, at any time, be taken through
any other door without consent of MEDITECH.
All carpeted/finished floor areas shall be
covered with masonite prior to commencement of the move. All edges/seams must be
secured properly to eliminate trip hazards.
All furniture, equipment and boxes shall
be moved between floors by utilizing freight elevator, rear door only. Elevator
pads must be in place in the freight elevator prior to use (see MEDITECH if necessary).
An exit walk-thru inspection is
required; MEDITECH Operations staff member must be present.
The Moving Company shall not block any fire
exit, doorway, closet or hallway that would in any way prohibit movement in/around the
building.
The Moving Company is responsible for removing
all moving related debris from the site. The includes, but is not limited to, boxes,
packing materials, trash, etc. The Moving Company shall not dispose of any debris in
the building trash compactor/dumpster, or anywhere in/around the building.
The Moving Company shall not park
vehicles in front of the building or in fire lanes at any time.
Building 100: The Moving Company may use space closest to the
compactor, making sure to allow for adequate passage for daily deliveries to the loading
dock area, unless prior permission has been obtained from MEDITECH.
Building 200: The Moving Company must provide adequate
passage for daily deliveries to the loading dock area, unless prior permission has been
obtained from MEDITECH.
There is No Smoking on MEDITECH property, other than in designated areas.
