Reducing Errors Through a Team Approach: Doylestown Hospital Featured on ADVANCE Cover

This month, ADVANCE for Health Information Executives features MEDITECH customer Doylestown Hospital as the print publication cover story for success with MEDITECH's electronic Medication Administration Record (eMAR). Doylestown CIO Richard Lang, EdD, and MIS Assistant Director Carol Muhlbauer are featured on the magazine cover. The article focuses on Doylestown's implementation team approach and shows how the organization is successfully reducing errors with MEDITECH's eMAR using Bluetooth wireless hand-held scanners to read medication and patient bar codes.
