MEDITECH Hospitals Among "Top 25 Connected Healthcare Facilities"

Health Imaging & IT has named its Top 25 Connected Healthcare Facilities for 2007. Over 600 health care facilities were represented in the balloting, which included 45 questions. The winners were distinguished by several considerations, including the percentage of the facility that is filmless, the percentage of procedures that are digital, the number of departments that share images, and the ability of in-network physicians and referring physicians to access electronic images. The winners have recognizably seamless paths for incoming and outgoing information. MEDITECH would like to congratulate our customers whose achievements have been acknowledged on the Top 25 Connected list - - Cook Children's Health Care System (Fort Worth, TX) and Norton Healthcare (Louisville, KY).
