MEDITECH Announces New ARRA Materials

Eager to prepare for ARRA, but don't know where to start? We recently published new materials on our Interoperability and EHR Initiatives Portal, to help you establish a plan for tackling the recently-passed "meaningful use" legislation.

We are proud to provide our ARRA Readiness guide and Sharing Electronic Health Records flyer. The ARRA Readiness guide offers a clear and concise summary of the I.T. functionality hospitals need in order to qualify for federal funds, as well as the compliance deadlines. Our Sharing Electronic Health Records flyer outlines how MEDITECH's integration and interoperability solutions can help hospitals meet ARRA criteria, based on the sharing of key clinical information.

Our new video interviews provide an inside view on how customers are preparing for ARRA. We feature several of our hospitals' I.T. leaders, including two of our Stage 6 customers, Watertown Regional Medical Center (Watertown, WI), and Citizens Memorial Healthcare (Bolivar, MO). You may also view the interview with Dr. Tom Sullivan, a practicing physician and chief strategic officer for DrFirst, who talks about how MEDITECH's relationship with DrFirst will help customers meet the criteria of meaningful use through medication reconciliation.
