MEDITECH Customers Awarded Prestigious Press Ganey Summit Award

MEDITECH would like to congratulate our customers who were recently awarded the Press Ganey Summit Award. This prestigious award recognizes health care organizations' achievements for delivering exceptional patient care throughout the continuum, including the inpatient and outpatient care settings.

As part of their efforts to measure patient satisfaction, Press Ganey administers patient satisfaction surveys to over 7,000 participating health care facilities across the nation. The Summit Award is given to those hospitals who rank in the top five percent (or 95th percentile) for a minimum of three consecutive years. As Press Ganey's most challenging award to attain, the Summit Award symbolizes a true testament for quality patient care.

These MEDITECH customers received the 2007 Press Ganey Summit Award for their outstanding achievements in patient satisfaction, in the following areas:

• Greenwich Hospital (Greenwich, CT) - inpatient setting
• Martha's Vineyard Hospital (Oak Bluffs, MA) - Emergency Department
