U.S. News and World Report has announced its 2007 rankings for America's Best Hospitals. This year's rankings were based on a rigorous, two part assessment. Once candidates passed through the first phase including evaluation of hard data, they underwent an extensive three-part evaluation focusing on reputation, mortality rate, and care-related factors including utilization of advanced technology and availability of nurses.
