Receives EHR Certification for 6.0 Platform
With
the recent certification of our 6.0 platform (version 6.05),
all MEDITECH platforms are now certified.

MEDITECH's 6.0 Health Care Information
System (HCIS) version 6.05 Electronic Health Record has
received complete EHR inpatient certification. Now, all
three of MEDITECH's platformsMAGIC, Client/Server,
and 6.0are certified through the Drummond Group,
under the Office of the National Coordinator Authorized
Testing and Certification Body (ONC-ATCB) program.
Hospitals running MEDITECH's certified solutions have the
software tools needed to meet the Stage 1 Meaningful Use
measures required to qualify for funding under the
American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
Our 6.0 HCIS version 6.05 certification encompassed both
required and optional components, including: Patient Care
and Patient Safety, Physician Care Manager, Emergency
Department Management, Enterprise Medical Record,
Pharmacy, Laboratory, Microbiology, Scanning and
Archiving, Data Repository, Health Information Management,
CCD Exchange Suite, Public Health Interfaces for
Laboratory and Immunization Reporting, and Report
Designer/Writer.
