MEDITECH Achieves Additional Certification
MEDITECH is proud to announce additional certification of our Electronic Health Records, under the Drummond Group's Electronic Health Records Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Testing and Certification Body (ONC-ATCB) program.
(5/17/11)

In addition to our complete EHR inpatient certification for Magic 5.6.4, Client/Server 5.6.4 and 6.05, MEDITECH is now providing customers with new "modular certification" options for qualifying for the Meaningful Use funding under ARRA.

MEDITECH has received modular EHR certification for all three of our platforms--MAGIC 5.6.4, Client/Server 5.6.4, and 6.05. Customers running those software releases may pursue funding under ARRA with the following "modular" product groupings:

"By running MEDITECH's core set of certified EHR products, along with a combination of MEDITECH or non-MEDITECH certified versions of Data Repository, Emergency Department, Interoperability, or Public Health interfaces, customers can assemble a complete EHR," says Barbara Hobbs, manager of EHR, Interoperability, and Standards Initiatives. "MEDITECH is
happy to contribute to our customers' ability to receive incentive dollars by making it as convenient as possible to leverage existing I.T. investments."

MEDITECH is also excited to announce that we have received complete EHR certification for our Magic 5.6.5, Client Server 5.6.5 and 6.06 releases, according to Hobbs. "Our next step is to pursue modular certification for MAGIC 5.6.5, Client/Server 5.6.5, and 6.06."
