As the health care industry prepares for even stricter regulations and higher quality standards in the years to come, it becomes more important than ever for care providers to establish strategic plans for improving efficiency, security and patient accessibility. This month's newsletter will focus on how our MIX customer service program is supporting our customers through these changes in the health care industry.
We feature an interview with Marketing Director Alan Goldstein, who relates how health care organizations can prepare for the future by establishing long-term goals and expanding the channels of communication with their peers as well as with MEDITECH. We also look back on the recent Physicians Advisory Committee, which engaged 15 care providers in a free-form discussion about our ambulatory products and other issues. And we give a recap of our successful CIO Forum, which recently took place in Columbia, Maryland.
In addition, we give a preview of our 2001 CIO Workshop in June, during which over 200 attendees are expected to come together to discuss a variety of strategic health care topics.
