Programmer

About the Programmer Position
As a member of our Client Services team, you will provide programming support for our Health Care Information System. This is an entry-level position, and training will be provided in both our application and platform technologies. Programmers will work with new technologies while coordinating closely with customer support and implementation staff. For proper assessment of your technical abilities, a problem solving analytical test will be administered to candidates who are selected to interview.

What You'll Do in this Role
This position involves working with MEDITECH staff and customers to address issues; troubleshooting and researching issues and coding solutions for customer systems; designing and coding software enhancements to customer specification; working on a variety of technical projects; coordinating and delivering software releases to customers; communicating with development staff and mentoring co-workers.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Bachelors or Associates Degree in Computer Science or computer course work in related field (Math/MIS/IS)
• Knowledge of a high-level programming language, such as C++ or Java is a plus
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• High desire to learn
